October 2026 Self-Service Terminal Industry Observation: AI-Driven and Diversified Services Reshape the Market, Fully Automatic Cotton Candy Machines Usher in New Opportunities

In October 2026, the global self-service terminal industry saw several important developments. According to the latest Fact.MR report, the AI Kiosk market is expected to grow from $10.4 billion in 2026 to $48.2 billion in 2036, with a compound annual growth rate of 16.6%, and India leads the world with a growth rate of 21.9%. At the same time, the NAC2026 conference was held in Las Vegas from October 13 to 15, focusing on cashless payment upgrades, multifunctional self-service terminals, and the exploration of new revenue models. Posiflex also launched its AI-driven SCO series self-checkout terminals this month, pushing retail self-service into a new stage.

In the food self-service segment, fully automatic cotton candy machines are becoming a growth highlight. The global cotton candy vending machine market is expected to reach $77 million by 2032, with a compound annual growth rate of 6.2%. From the perspective of industry trends, equipment is evolving from basic models to intelligent terminals that support multiple flavors and multiple patterns, and is gradually being applied in crowded places such as shopping malls and amusement parks. Take our company's 6-canister fully automatic cotton candy machine as an example. It is equipped with 6 independent sugar canisters and can support 6 flavors and as many as several hundred fancy cotton candy patterns, with fully unmanned operation throughout the process. This design upgrades the equipment from a single snack vending machine to an intelligent terminal that can flexibly adapt to multiple scenarios, continuously attracting consumers in high-traffic scenarios such as shopping centers, cinemas, and amusement parks.

Industry analysis points out that fully automatic cotton candy machines are developing toward a higher degree of automation and a richer variety of categories. As self-service terminals accelerate their penetration in global retail and entertainment scenarios, the 6-canister fully automatic cotton candy machine provides operators with a low-labor-cost path to increase revenue.
